Alright friends, it’s time to be thankful once again! : ) I know we are all thankful for many things going on in our lives, but it never hurts to stop and think for a minute about what we are blessed with each and every day. I hope you’ll join me.
Today, and everyday, I am incredibly thankful for my wonderful husband Michael. Michael and I met while students at Charleston Southern University and were good friends before dating. That’s one of the greatest things I can say about our relationship – he’s my best friend. We have been married for ten years and these are some of the things I love about him – he’s funny and can always make me laugh (or at least crack a smile), he is patient, he is not only smart but wise as well, he sees the good in all situations, he’s an amazing father, he makes me feel loved and special, he’s good looking, he is trustworthy, and most importantly he loves God and puts Him above all else.
What are you thankful for today?

I am thankful for my parents – Ed & Karen! They came up this weekend to bring their grandpups a new dog house. And not just any dog house, a massive dog house! With insulation and a porch! And of course, while Dad worked outside, Mom cooked and cleaned. Not only do they have servants hearts, but they are always so supportive. I only wish they lived closer. I am super blessed with amazing parents! And so very thankful!
Wow, the comments you made about Michael really thrill his mama’s heart. I am thankful that both of my children have been blessed with fine, caring Christians as their mates.
I admit I was having a hard time being thankful today. My husband is out of town for the week, this pregnancy is wearing me out, and I’ve been hungry all day! But…thanks for this post…it makes me think happy things.
I am thankful for fall…it’s gorgeous here in New England! The color of the leaves and the crispness of the air…it’s wonderful!
I am thankful for my Father in law Delma. That’s right
He is a pharmacist and hooks us up when we need some meds. I’ve been having some sort of cold/sinus thing and he calls to check on me and tells me what meds to take. I should probably tell him that I am thankful so he’ll know. Or just tell him to read your blog
Yes, Caroline, please tell Delma to read my blog. I am sure he will love it.
I am also so very thankful for my wonderful husband…we were together 9 years as boyfriend and girlfriend, and so far have been married 7 years…it really adds up!! I love him dearly and he is such a sweetheart…he is taking care of the kids as I go off to Dallas to meet with Lucy and Vane to see the NKOTB concert!!!! SO THANKFUL!!!:)
Thank you baby! I am so thankful for you as well! I am lucky to have you as my wife and best friend! TE AMO!
Just got your site from Heather, so great. I did a post last week on this very subject and you know, my husbands name is Michael also.
Great post. I will check in often.
