The first weekend of summer vacation arrived and a night of celebration was in order. We sure didn’t let the fact that neither Matthan nor I were in any type of school setting this year hold us back from catching the summer hype. We joined forces with our friends The Cawthon’s, put our creative minds together, and after a nice dinner, this is how we celebrated …

And ate free Hot-and-Nows for National Donut Day . . .
Our kids have so much to look forward to this summer! : )

So I am totally out of the loop and a little bitter about it…why did I not know that Friday was National Doughnut Day?! That would have been a great excuse for me to eat a dozen doughnuts…I love Krispy Kreme! (Maybe that needs to be on my list

Oh man, we didn’t know about National Hot and Now Day! Bummer! We will get to take the girls with their report cards tomorrow and get a doughnut for each A they get!
