Vacation Time!

It’s family vacation time! So far . . .

* Matthan did great on our flights! YAY!

* Our luggage got royally messed up.  Long story – but our carry on with all of Matthan’s stuff is lost. Because of this, he is wearing a way too long Lighting McQueen bathing suit that has already given him major leg rash. 

* We’ve piled into a much too small car where I had to sit on my little brother (and by little I mean, younger and much smaller than I) for 45 minutes straight … the 10+ pounds I gained this year that I had hoped nobody would notice, were noticed immediately on this ride.  

* Matthan has requested a different type of vehicle be built for him each day.  It’s a good thing his uncles have creative talent – he wouldn’t be getting anything but a hole in the sand from us.  First day … a race car!

* My goal for these two weeks is to not use my hair dryer, flat iron or make-up.  I’m gonna really enjoy this vacation.

* Internet access is very limited so I’m signing off for the next two weeks! Hope all of you are doing great – see you soon! : )
