One of Matthan’s favorite things about our vacation were the amazing sand vehicles his uncles built for him every day. One of my favorite things about vacation was getting to lay around and soak up the sun while my brothers labored away.
Day 1: Race Car (makes you cringe to watch him destroy it, but that’s what happened every day)
Day 2: Space Ship
Day 3: Speed Boat (my favorite)
Day 4: Garbage Truck (Matthan’s favorite)
Day 5: Train
And then, the family left. Matthan and I switched condos and spent the following week with my childhood friends and their kiddos. The fancy, shmancy creations came to an abrupt end and all he got for the rest of our beach time were holes, and small ones at that. It was vacation time after all, I wasn’t about to break too much of a sweat. Can you just see how proud he was of his creative, hard working mom? : )
What a great experience for Matthan! Even if he doesn’t remember, he’ll have those picture to remind him of the fun time he had with his uncles.

I thought Michael jumped in there with his “sand art” expertise. He said he had the ideas and the know how he just needed your brother to bring in the sand. At least that is what he told me.
