Be Intentional

I’ve been choosing to make the most of each day in October. To look for something amazing throughout the day I’m living. I’m working on being intentional about noticing and savoring at least one blessing each day (there are usually many more, but I’m capturing one a day). It’s made this month great – less stressful, more enjoyable, more fun and way more relaxed. This is so good for our family. I am thankful to have come across this challenge.

Amazing Day 5 – We bought some silly string cans at the dollar store and spent a few minutes outside having our very own family silly string war. The kids loved it and can’t wait to do it again.

Amazing Day 6 – I skipped folding laundry and caught up on Grey’s with some caramel drizzled popcorn while the babies napped. Perfection.

Amazing Day 7 – Loved catching up with this one and listening to him tell me all about his weekend away with Daddy. His joy and excitement were contagious!

Amazing Day 8 – It was a perfect fall weather day to enjoy a Tall Cinnamon Dolce Latte. My fave.

Amazing Day 9 – These brave girls found some sticks and made the ants mad as they poked, poked, poked their home. Thankful for sweet friends in our new hometown.

Amazing Day 10 – We started a new home group this week with some old friends, some brand new friends, and the super cool fact that I still got to sit in a living room next to this amazing gal! #Ephesians320

Amazing Day 11 – Pumpkin Patch time with the fam and some friends. Love seeing my kiddos love each other and have fun together (although a good pic is near impossible).

Amazing Day 12 – We closed on the sale of our house in Florence (thank you, Jesus!) and got to visit with my GiGi and Grandaddy. Love them.

Amazing Day 13 – An annual tradition for The Browns: Apple Picking! Always such a good family fun day.

Wherever you are, whatever is going on in your life, I hope you will be intentional about noticing the goodness, the blessings, the fun, the beautiful, the out-of-the-ordinary in each day you are living.

Our perspective sure does have the power to change our days!
