Hi! I’m Vanessa and this is a snap shot of my life. I am working on not taking everything so seriously, lightening up, letting go and simply enjoying every moment in life. My goal is to live life abundantly, just as we were intended to.
I’m a wife and mom. I love my family. The two men in my life are the most incredible, funny, lovable guys ever! Aside from God, they are my priority and focus. I don’t always show or live this, but I am working on it. I’m a work in progress.
I was also a teacher – for ten years. I am now a stay at home, taking a break from teaching and enjoying a different part of my life. It’s been great! I get so much joy out of the simple, cute, funny things my two year old does. I’m pretty sure I’ll go back to teaching again someday. I truly enjoy and love teaching; it was never just a job.
My close friends and family call me Vane.

I have enjoyed reading your insights. I am going to miss you this summer and next school year! What will I do at lunch time? I won’t have someone to laugh and tell all my crazy stories to. You have truly been a blessing at school. It is wonderful to have true Christian friends in the workplace. I truly believe that God puts people in our lives at just the right time.
I can’t wait to come and see ya’ll in Florence! Okay… I got to stop because I’m getting tears in my eyes.
